East Lynch is situated in the Porlock Vale on the edge of Exmoor. The farm is south facing and has superb views towards Robin Howe and Dunkery Beacon. It is a 260 acre mixed holding with sheep and horses.
Stallions currently standing are Franklins Gardens and Babodana. Dual Group race winner Franklins Gardens’ first foals in England arrived in the spring of 2009. Listed race winning miler Babodana, who retired in November 2008, is now standing. Both stallions retired sound and have excellent conformation and temperaments.
Group winning “Franklin’s Gardens” (by Halling out of Woodbeck by Terimon) and the Lincoln winner “Babodana” (by Bahamian Bounty out of Daanat Nawal by Machiavellian). Were both trained at Newmarket by Mark Tompkins.
Both horses retired sound after very successful racing careers and look destined for a bright future as dual purpose sires.
